The oldest palace, Palazzo Dandolo, features traditional Murano glass chandeliers, ornately decorated pink marble columns, precious antique carpets, and elegantly decorated gilted ceilings. This incredible palace dates back to the 14th century and once belonged to the noble Venetian Dandolo family. The palace's intricatey carved main wooden doors lead out onto the characteristic stone-slabbed streets of Venice.
Palazzo Danieli Excelsior was refurbished in 2008, the redesign of its interiors and guestrooms entrusted to renowned design architect Jacques Garcia.
